A Scout is Clean, a Scout is Helpful! We are going to do a spring cleanup of a section of Cheeney Creek. Meet at Cheeney Creek Nature Area north parking lot; we will work our way north along the managed section of the creek (that runs along Heritage Meadows neighborhood).

Wear pants and shoes/boots that can get wet. We will have some supplies to share, but if you have heavy duty trash bags and/or gloves, please bring them. Also grabber poles are good, so you can reach stuff that might be hard to get to in the water.

We will spend 45-60 minutes cleaning up Cheeney Creek, and then everyone is invited to a cookout/playtime at Matt’s house, which backs up to the creek (11313 Meadows Dr) starting at about 11:30. Matt will provide the food (hot dogs, brats).
